Big project coming!

 Not giving too much away right now, but an idea came to me earlier this month and it ignited a fire in me. More info. to come on this big project!

Ridlee birthday shots!

 

Ridlee is 9!

 Ridlee is 9 today! In some ways it's hard to believe it's been only 9 years since she's turned my world completely around. In other ways how has it been 9 years already? I've learned the most about my own self in these 9 years since she's been born compared to the 33 years prior. And she's still teaching me. I'm the counselor and mom I am today because of her. 

She's become more bossy and assertive in the past year. I'm always amazed at her capabilities on her tablet, computer, and the switch. She's taken to creating graphic art and loves making miis of her family and anyone she can think of. She finds enjoyment in taking over her siblings switch profiles and bringing their scores down in Mario Cart and changing their miis much to their chagrin. 

She takes just over an hour to do her daily schoolwork now that's she's homeschooled. She adjusted better than we hoped and uses her extra time to boss her siblings around and take over family TVs and other electronics all while bouncing on her trampoline or yoga ball. She uses her magic Ridlee power to try and turn the dogs into humans and grows irritated when they don't comply. She has probably the largest Care Bear collection I've ever seen and knows their names better than anyone. 

She doesn't like to hear babies cry and tries to save them in public so we're a little concerned how she will handle a new baby nephew when he's upset. But she does seem excited about the prospect of him coming.
