I have been trying to get my bedroom to a reasonable order the past couple of weeks. When we moved into this house almost 3 years ago I had plans to do our room last, but it seemed to be put on the back burner. I don't know where the need came from, but I started cleaning up and then it just went from there. We spent less than $250 total on everything. Most of the stuff for decorating we had and just redid. It's not spectacular but it's so much better than it was. Keep in mind this was the room Ridlee was born in.
Before pics... Bare walls and clutter.
And after... The color is a dark grey with a hint of purple with teal accents.
Steven's one contribution.
Painted these canvases in about 15 minutes between projects.
My new handmade medal holder that Steven and I made.
Bathroom corner, tight space so couldn't get much.
Two years ago I awoke to a snow storm in labor. Less than an hour and half later Ridlee arrived in style. She awoke around 2:30 a.m. this morning in the exact same room she was born in. I am just as tired today as I was the day she was born. But for her birthday I will deal. Today was also the first day I had to take all the kids to school after holiday break. That just added to my already sleep deprivation.
