I just submitted my final assignment for the first year of my program, marking the completion of one-third of the coursework.
This semester, I participated in two virtual conferences: an Inaugural Consortium at George Mason University and another at Queen's University in Canada. Both of these conferences aligned with my ongoing dissertation research.
Additionally, both of my proposals were accepted for presentation at this year's International Leadership Association (ILA) global conference in November, in Chicago. One is a panel presentation titled "Leadership and Neurodivergence: Panel Insights from Experts and Lived Experiences," which I will deliver with three other individuals. The other is for an Emerging Scholar Research Consortium, where I will present a poster on "Indigenous Autism Perspectives: Inclusive Societal Understanding Utilizing Decolonizing Leadership" and will be assigned a mentor to assist with my ongoing research. This is a significant milestone, as it will be my first time presenting on both a national and global level. I am thrilled about this opportunity.
