Due to late birthday events and cold weather we refrained from TnT for the first time in 23 years. Well I did miss it 12 years ago, but the bigs were taken by grandparents. I have a little mom guilt but they seemed fine with it. Today was Ridlee's fun therapy day so it's been a lot even before birthday fun. Kieran managed to get some cute shots of Rowan!
12 years already! I had the biggest scare of my life less than 48 hours after your birth, followed by a short NICU stay. I never want to feel that again.
Much like all your siblings and your dad, you're drawn to technology, games, and computers. You're gifted in reading and building/engineering. You're passionate about certain topics and you know what you don't like as well. You've got an older soul that is drawn to either other old souls or older kids. I guess that's what you get when you're almost the youngest, and they are all quite a bit older than you.
I appreciate that you never argue or pester your younger sister. You make a great Gunkle Heston. I hope you keep that spirited assertiveness as well as heavy compassion.

So it's happening! This month!
I have been going non-stop since getting back from my conferences. Of all months I'm not able to give as much focus to my book stuff as I would like. Still, to see it in actual imagery is surreal.
No official date release but it will be November, as in next month. So I guess I need to start getting the word out more. Any help or shares would be greatly appreciated! I really wish I had more time to devote to this page.

Never really considered myself a city girl but if I had to live in one this would be the place. I'm absolutely loving Vancouver. I've seen so many different cultures while I've been here. I've heard so many different languages. I've not seen one negative thing or heard one negative thing out of anybody's mouths. I walk down the street without any fear.
I've done more peopling the last week than I have in probably the last 3 years. Most of it has been done while I've been here. I've actually allowed myself to make a few connections while I've been here. Helps when there are extroverts that like to adopt introverts.
I realized I like to actually travel and need to do more of it. I actually would impress upon anyone considering doing something that they never have before and step outside of their comfort zone and do it. You won't regret it. But you might regret not doing it. And that can be anything from travel to education, or just challenging yourself in something. Life is too short to sit back and just watch others live it. Go live it yourself.
