School starts
With so many moving parts in our family, we don't get the normal back-to-school pics.
Ryker started his junior year but will have enough credits to be a senior by Christmas. He's also taking mostly college classes and will have his associate's in STEM by the time he graduates. He also has his dad for college chemistry and college chemistry 2 next semester.
Heston started 6th grade and Ridlee started 4th grade doing homeschool this year which she has been doing since last November.
Steven, Kieran, and I all start our college classes this week. Gage is the only one not taking any and just enjoying himself for once. August is always so crazy here.

Smashing Pumpkins again
We ended up leaving early. Sensory hell. Acoustics were awful for all bands. Smells and sounds were so overwhelming. Honestly, worst experience at a concert ever. I saw them before and it was good so I am not going to blame them.

24th Anniversary!
Happy 24 years to this guy! Or I guess to both of us! 8 moves, 2 states, 5 kiddos, 1 son in love, 1 grandbaby, numerous licenses and certifications, and 6+ degrees completed, and more still in the works for both of us. A lot has happened in those 24 years. Lots of losses, lots of growth, but definitely lots of love. Thanks for being my person! No one I would rather have pushed me through this life.

I was approved!!
Y'all!!!!
I am super shocked and stoked!
Background! A few months back I messaged my old tribal advisor for my MBA program and asked if our tribe ever gives scholarships for PhD programs. He stated that it was extremely rare but not impossible and to go ahead and try. I went ahead and applied and stated very clearly why this program would also benefit my tribe.
I have been checking daily since I applied. I was super surprised today to find that I was approved!!
So if you are a tribal member of any tribes in Oklahoma and have contact information for anyone in your Government, I would greatly appreciate that information.
This is 1 of 2 big projects I have planned for my research while in this program.
