Making Due - Pandemic Post #7

Ridlee was making houses with boxes so we decided to splurge a little and get a dollhouse. It will eventually go to the play office but I will let her play with it throughout the quarantine. She has also been playing outside a lot. She is using pretend play a lot lately.

Zoom and new normal - Pandemic Post #6

I'm noticing a down side to having multiple zoom meetings and many telehealth sessions in a week, you start to think people are watching you even when you're doing normal things on the computer. One up side to social distancing, the middle three are playing board games together without fighting... too much! #covid19 #pandemic2020

And Ridlee has been enjoying being outside and the nice off and weather. Not regretting holding out for a big yard. Especially now that the parks are closed.

Find your meaning - Pandemic Post #5

Prepping myself for the coming week of clients and the ordinary and extraordinary battles we all will be facing. A lot of quotes are coming to mind from Viktor Frankl's "Man Search for Meaning". I wanted to share some of my favorites. #Iknowmymeaningwhatsyours #findyourmeaning #iraiseahallelujah #inthemiddleofamystery #fearyoulostyourholdofme #imgonnasinginthemiddleofthestorm #hopewillarise #deathisdefeated #louderthantheunbelief #whereisyourhope https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2XtRuPfaAU

Preparing for telehealth - Pandemic Post #4

While I am not going completely telehealth because of the population I serve I am doing as much training as I can to better serve those who choose to social distance but continue their counseling. Looks like I moved offices just in time.

First week of homeschool - Pandemic Post #3

Trying to make the most of our new situation. Getting to try out mom's new play office when everything else seems to be shutting down and social distancing is necessary.

Schools Closing - Pandemic Post #2

Well, not so much closing but going online for the foreseeable future, set to reevaluate April 17th but will likely not open at that time. WalMart home office and other big companies also going to be working from home. Haas has been digital since last Friday.

My concern initially was for the children who rely on school to get meals but out area and schools are getting a plan in place to fill in those gaps. Proud of this NW Arkansas.

Other companies are stepping up to help fill in the gap for education at home providing lots of services for free that normally would cost families. Teachers are having to work extra hard to plan to bring education to the digital. They will actually be working more from home than if they were at school.

On a bad note people are freaking, buying up all the toilet paper and other things. People need to calm down!

Coronavirus - Pandemic Post #1

I figured I better input this in somewhere. We are in a pandemic. People are starting to freak. Talk of schools closing and going digital or packets is occurring.

New Office

Yes I moved! Literally same building, just the next over suite. The Doctor who was in it is retiring. I have the option to grow here and rent offices as I expand. I no longer have the big play room, but I will make due with the smaller one. I am loving it so far! Waiting on a chair to come in for the play room. Also needing to add a few decor items in main one. It's been a busy weekend. Definitely benefited from the extra day in February.
